Covid infections are still occurring, albeit with what thankfully in most cases (but not all) appears to be a milder form than previous variants. As a result some, especially those considering themselves among the more vulnerable, are understandably still apprehensive about attending indoor gatherings.
Accordingly the executive committee has postponed this year’s AGM until Wednesday June 8, combining it with the normal June delegates’ meeting, aiming to make the one meeting accessible to as many people as possible.
Hopefully infection rates will have declined further by then and, with the lighter nights and (hopefully) better weather, it may even be possible to hold this year’s gathering outdoors, if that is the general wish.
MKAA’s 2023 AGM should return to the normal April slot, conditions permitting.
Thank you in anticipation of your understanding and co-operation, and apologies for any inconvenience caused.
