Ravenstone

Approx 1400 yards of prime river Ouse extending 1 field upstream of the weir and 3 fields down stream of the weir, this venue was once well known for its barbel, they are still present but in much lower numbers. Quality roach, dace, perch, pike, and chub inhabit this classic fishery. This fishery offers some shallows, long fast and streamy glides, and slower deeper areas. An ideal section of river for stalking or roving for the lure angler. This lower stretch of the Ouse meanders through the fields but please take care as it is prone to undercut banks.
